Dear Randi,
I just wanted to thank you for your creative genius. You are a miracle worker. You absolutely transformed my office. It is an amazing feat to take the "old" pictures and accent pieces and refit them into a totally "new" look.
Randi, you are so talented. I would recommend you for any job, none too big or too small. In a short amount of time you listened to each detail... all requests. As I took in the experience of looking around my office I felt that you listened to each one of us and our thoughts. In an extremely brief amount of time you captured the feeling that we were trying to create. Every detail was attended to on the spot. Without knowing exactly which pieces would end up in which rooms you added your magic. Even the bookcase which we decided to put in our conference room was attended to as an important part of the room.
On a small budget you worked miracles to revitalize our work areas. Red was added in the bathroom as a reminder that the color was important...the kitchen had each piece arranged as if you stepped into someone's home... inviting yet organized. Even the back hall had photos and pictures that extended our work environment.
I could feel the joy when the employees proudly showed me around our new office. All work was halted so that we could share in the moment. It is rare that we stop from our busy jobs just tot take on how far we have come with this transition. You created that experience for us.
I know that we will be more productive in our new space. I see your touches everywhere and will be reminded of true talent every day. Your work will help us all to remember to give our best each day... I hope you will celebrate with us on your outstanding achievement with this project. This office is a work of art thanks to you.
I thank you so much for all your creativity and joy. You have given us a gift.
Thank you again. It was wonderful to work with you again.

It has been at least 15 years since I have known and worked with Randi Skiffington. Randi first started decorating houses for my husband's development team who built secondary lake front homes on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. In addition Randi decorated two lake front houses for us personally. After the very first house that Randi decorated we knew that we had found a detailed, enthusiastic, capable and professional young woman who then became a big asset to our development business as she was employed regularly to "dress" our spec houses. Her success often lead to the buyers buying the homes with the decorator package. In addition, many of these buyers took her to their primary homes and had her decorate there also.
After a preliminary meeting with a potential client, Randi does a thourough presentation of the ideas she has for the home. Randi and the client decide how to proceed and from then on Randi takes over the process, keeps in communication with the client and delivers "the goods" in a very timely fashion. Not only does she help choose colors and help pick furniture but she selects granites and bathroom tile designs for showers and tubs that are outstanding.
Randi also has a good working relationship with local contractors and jobs are completed in a timely manner.
Both my husband and I have recommended Randi many times and will continue to do so in the future. She is professional and an excellent listener.

Dear Randi,
I wanted to take a quick moment to formally express to you my sincere thanks for my "new" office. Although it has been just over one year since the renovation, it feels and looks like yesterday. I can honestly say that the quality of my time spent in my office has increased immeasurably.
To this day, I often receive complements for the subtle taste of the furnishings and the details that I had only seen before in upscale magazines. People like yourself make those "magazine" quality rooms, and I am happy and proud to be in mine at this very moment.
You are the consummate professional with an unequaled eye for detail and style.
Thnk you for working on my project.

It has been almost a year now since we moved up here permanently from Wellesley, Massachusetts and met with you. As I am certain you recall, we didn't really know any professional interior designers in the area but you were highly recommended by our builder. At the time, we were in the middle of building on an addition to our lake house. I remember asking you to turn our current cabin like house into a year round home. I wanted our place to be cozy and comfortable plus use some existing pieces, but at the same time, keep the look in the spirit of the character of our small lake. You smiled and said "I know exaclty what you want". And somehow, even though we had just met, I felt like you did understand us. You listened so carefully, asked great questions, and got those creative juices of yours flowing. We never looked back and it has been such a fun project. The outcome is everything we had hoped for and more!
Now, in this long overdue note to you and your terrific team, I want to thank you for creating this beautiful environment for us. Doug and I are thrilled with the results. Our interior is just the right mix of old and new plus so cozy. We love spending time in our beautiful living areas and our incredible master bedroom. We also appreciate all the extras you brought to the project ranging from haircut recommendations to exterior trim color selection to dog biscuits for our "boys". It was a pleasure working with you and all of the IBR staff. I look forward to the next project.
Please don't be a stranger to our home.
Fondly, Laurie
Dear Randi:
Thank you for my lovely home. When we started the Moultonboro project eight months ago, I never dreamed it would turn out so well. As you know, my business responsibilities kept me in Atlanta while the project marched on. This was a very large undertaking, involving sub-contractors, stone masons, plumbers and electricians. You handled all of the recruitment and scheduling of the contractors with a minimum amount of disruption to my Atlanta schedule. It was truly a job well done.
Then there were the furnishings, some of which I felt rather strongly about! You handled the furnishings, and you handled me, with a professionalism and sophistication far beyond your years.
I have scarcely encountered talent such as yours. I'm pleased I backed off and let you be the artist. The house is a magnificent testimony to your expertise and attention to detail.
Lastly, we had scheduled date of completion, and you met that date. Now I have a beautiful lake home, and I can't wait to live in it full time.
I appreciate the time, expertise, and energy you invested in this project. I would recommend your services without hesitation, and if I can ever help in this regard, please let me know.
Sincerely yours,

Dear Randi,
When Debbie and I first saw Wentworth Shores we immediately decided to but it. Shortly after the exaltation of the purchase subsided, we were faced with the frightening task of completing the house; i.e., coordinating with the builders, supervising the progress, choosing the flooring, fixtures and furnishing the premises – all long distance. Even given the time, such a task would be overwhelming; it seemed impossible. However, the project was accomplished. The flooring was chosen. The fixtures were picked. Colors were coordinated. Windows were decorated. Furniture was purchased and delivered. The audio/visual system was installed. Accessories were even strategically placed to add charm to an already charming home.
The project was completed effortlessly. Debbie and I never concerned ourselves with brusque builders, uncertain delivery dates or any of the normal difficulties associated with the completion of such a project. Our home is absolutely breath-taking and we never had a crisis. We never lost a day in the office or had a concern about the project's completion. One may wonder how this could be possible. The answer is really quite simple. We retained you; and our decision could not have been more correct.
From the very initial construction stages through to making certain that our home had sufficient color coordinated towels for our first day, you exhibited the professionalism, trustworthiness and acuity that could only produce the stunning results that you created for us at Wentworth Shores.
As our home grew and evolved, likewise did our respect, admiration and affection for you as a professional and as an individual. You personally made the transition into our house and into Moultonboro pleasant experiences that are rarely enjoyed during the construction and move into a new home and town. As a direct result of your efforts, Wentworth Shores has truly been a haven for us right from the start. Debbie, Bryan and I are in your debt.
Sincerely,
Paul W. Zwicker
Dear Randi
I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for all the work you've done so far with my wife Carolyn and me decorating our new home. We've never worked with a decorator before, and I am the first to admit that I was skeptical at first. My concern was that our house would reflect the tastes of the decorator rather than our own. I am pleased to say that our experience with you was nothing like that.
After completing a significant renovation to an old house, we were faced with the challenge of creating a décor that was both in keeping with the age and style of the house and permitted us and our kids a modern lifestyle. You listened and figured out what we wanted our house to look and feel like, and then used your creativity and experience to bring together all the necessary elements. The results are outstanding, and we look forward to future projects.
Finally, we really appreciate your willingness to indulge our style and pace of decorating, especially your guidance on the items that we wanted to hunt for ourselves. Your advice was great, and you made our efforts much more successful and rewarding.
Thanks again.
Best wishes,
Jeff
Dear Randi:
Now that summer is over and I have a chance to breathe a little, I want to let you know how happy Annette and I are with the final "look and feel" of our home. The results achieved have exceeded all of our expectations. You clearly demonstrated a unique ability to both listen and make great recommendations, especially when it was sometimes difficult for us to imagine the finished look. Everyone who has visited us comments on how great our home interior looks and as much as we would like to take the credit – it all goes to you.
Thank you so much for turning our "house" into a "home". Your efforts throughout the spring and summer were truly remarkable. We look forward to working with you on future projects. Feel free to use our home as an example of your great work and please let me know if you ever need me to serve as a reference for future clients.
Sincerely,
Dan Nova
Dear Randi,
We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks for everything you have done for us regarding the interior design work on our home on Lake Winnipesaukee.
George and I are truly thrilled with the results. You are a real professional and it has been a pleasure doing business with you. Your ideas have translated into a beautiful and comfortable home for us.Working with you has been fantastic. You have taken all the work out of creating a complete interior. You are extremely reliable and have always done what you said you would do. It is wonderful to work with someone that you can place your trust in.
Randi, we wish you the best of luck and we will always treasure your friendship.
Sincerely,
George & Debi Maynard
Dear Randi,
Congratulations on your new office space! We are very anxious to see it when we are back in New Hampshire.
Can you believe it has been almost two years since we purchased our Lake Winnipesaukee home? The outstanding "turn-key" work you did made our move nearly effortless and allowed us to enjoy fully the few remaining weeks of that summer. Each room was beautifully decorated and accessorized, with everything one could need to turn a new house into a treasured home – even our most dear family photographs. Walking into the house to find the dining table set and ready for our first dinner in our new home was a memorable moment!
We will never figure out where you then found the energy to tackle our Massachusetts home. Who would have thought we could redecorate and refurnish our entire house in such a short timeframe? Your expert guidance and creative suggestions have given us an elegant yet extremely comfortable home.
Thank you again for the outstanding work you did for us. We can only hope that your new office brings you as much joy as our two homes with "Interiors by Randi".
With the warmest regards,
Denise & Joseph
Dear Randi,
It is with great pleasure that we write you this note both thanking you and commending you on all the great work you have done for us. In a matter of months, you turned "The Lake House" into our dream getaway. Not only do we smile and relax every time we walk through the door, but so do our friends and family. You took a vague vision in our heads of what we wanted our vacation home to be and made it reality.
In addition, you have been a pleasure to work with. We have relied on you to get the job done without much oversight and to take care of unexpected emergencies. With the addition of the "Guest House," you showed that you could handle the construction phase as well as the decorating. Thank you for all of your hard work. We look forward to working with you again.
Sincerely,
Karen and Ted Philip
Dear Randi,
How do I attempt to do the impossible, to thank you appropriately for the unbelievable experience Kris and I had working with you on our home at Iroquois? So impossible, in fact, that this letter is many months overdue, an outcome driven entirely by my inability to find the right words to express our appreciation. When Kris and I decided in August 2000 to purchase a second home in the area, we had a myriad of thoughts running through our heads. Our thoughts (and fears) included how to manage this very large project from two hours and one hundred miles away. I firmly believed that if the house construction project went well, we were home free.
Kris, the pragmatist, knew otherwise. She convinced me that what made a house a home was not the two-by-sixes and HVAC and sound systems, but rather all of the special touches in the interior of the house. For us, this home was our dream, and we were destined to see it succeed.
Unfortunately, time was not on our side. We desperately wanted to be in the home by late January so that we could enjoy all that New Hampshire has to offer during the winter months. The developers assured us that they would do their part – the house would be completed in time. However, we were warned that it would be virtually impossible to plan, coordinate and finish the interior design and decoration of the house in four months, the time between signing the papers and the closing. Discouraged, we asked around and were told that only one person was capable of pulling off such a feat – Randi Skiffington.
I remember vividly the conversation I had with Kris after her first meeting with you. "Joe, I think you are really going to like her. She and I spent all afternoon together, she asked questions, listened and really knew my tastes. She told me that she understands that she will need to keep to a budget, and she also knows how important it is to be in by the end of January." I thought to myself, "She must have tastes just like Kris' – she knows exactly what we need and where to get it."
Imagine my surprise when I discovered you were much more Manhattan than Adirondacks! Whereas we love the rustic country look, you surround yourself in purples, whites and blacks. And thus we discovered one of your many talents – you adopt the mindset of your clients, even if it is 180 degrees from your own perspective, and you do it well.
The next challenge was ensuring the project would be completed on time. Again, on this dimension, you deserve a perfect ten. In mid October, barely three weeks after meeting with Kris for the first time, you traveled to our house in Massachusetts with more tile, granite, fabric, carpet and wood samples than I had ever seen. You spent the better part of an hour transforming our family room into an interior designer's showcase. You presented us with a professional proposal of furniture and area rugs (all with second options), color photographs and prices. You then methodically walked us through room by room and laid out your ideas in a very organized and extremely efficient fashion. It was then that we saw our project coming to fruition.
It is uncanny to think about how many of your initial suggestions we ultimately incorporated into our home - very rarely did we ask you to go back to the drawing board, and when we did, you always came back with something we liked the second time.
During our construction process, you were always available to answer questions that arose from any contractors and subcontractors. You did this with the ability and efficiency to ensure our project moved ahead on schedule. You handled the few snags that we hit along the way with a professionalism and grace that truly earned our respect.
The budget for me was always a principal issue. Fortunately, in you I found a kindred spirit. While not cheap, you were certainly thrifty. You shopped around looking for the best price, always asking the vendors, "Is that the best you can do?" I am happy to say that you came in significantly under budget, and neither Kris nor I feel you scrimped on any detail.
The magic that awaited us on the day we arrived and first saw our decorated home was beyond what words could describe. At that exact moment we knew that every time you had said, "trust me," you were working on this incredible vision. Our new house immediately felt like a home. The smallest details like the huge basket of apples on the kitchen table, the girls' princess pillows and the tasteful Notre Dame memorabilia will prevent me from ever asking Kris again what an accessory is!
You delivered a finished product that is absolutely gorgeous. We truly enjoy our escapes to New Hampshire whatever the season, as you have created a home that feels perfect no matter the time of year. We love entertaining people for many reasons. At the top of that list is the pride we have when people walk through our home and comment on how beautiful it is. You deserve the credit for this, and we are extremely grateful for the four months of your life you dedicated to us.
Just as important, we are also thankful for the friendship we have developed. We very early on recognized that you share many of the tenets that we hold – dedication, loyalty and an unwavering commitment to doing what you say you will do. We respected you for this from the outset and are glad our professional relationship has evolved into a personal one as well.
In closing, Randi, we are incredibly pleased with the work you performed on our home. You are a professional in every sense of the word. You are also a dear friend, someone whom we hope to know for many years to come. I would be honored to serve as a reference for you whenever you needed one. Please feel free to call whenever you could use our help. Thank you once more for a job very well done!
